Welcome to the ASDA Home and Leisure technical manual.

These documents cover ASDA’s basic requirements for supply. These must be met or exceeded in order to supply ASDA Private Label products, including items where ASDA is the importer of record (any brand).

The policies set out the contractual obligations for the supply of Private Label products to ASDA. The Technical Manual is in addition to any legal obligations in relation to the products supplied. This document is not exhaustive, and expert advice must be sought where appropriate.

It is the Supplier’s responsibility to communicate the ASDA code of practice, policies and technical manual through the supply chain to ensure compliance.

A close relationship with your development technologist is essential. Please see the contact details to identify who is responsible for your product area. They will be able to advise you which policies are applicable to your product and be specific about testing requirements .

Any queries must be directed to the development technologist in the first instance.
