It is a requirement of ASDA for all Goods for Resale suppliers to invoice via EDI
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is the transfer of data from computer to computer of commercial or administrative transactions using an agreed standard to structure the transaction or message. To ASDA this means the sender formats the messages to an agreed standard and sends the message over the Internet (AS2).
ASDA’s preferred message type is AS2 but we offer an ASDA-specific web based application called Orbit as an alternative.
